This song was made by Reginald Comeaux in 2018 in order to get the croud to dance while attending fullsail. Growing up in Louisiana, he was inspired by southern music, giving him that smooth vibe that goes along with what southerners call swing out. Swing out focuses on beat one and two.

The meter of this song was constructed in 4/4, being that it is the most common meter. It was used to capture the 1 and 2 when dancing to swing out music. Being that swing out focuses on the one and two of the meter this went very well with the track. The bass was moving faster than the laid back feel of the drums to bring energy to the track.

He then chose the key of C maj and A minor. These two keys were chosen because they are parallel each other. They were easy to move back and forth between. The chord progression did exactly what he wanted them to { provide that laid back feel}.

The two effects chosen for this track was eq and compression. The eq was used to get rid of unwanted frequencies and compression was used to get the tracks to play nice with each other. After applying all of these, the track came together providing a smooth melody with a moving bass.
